Westport is a small and kind of shabby resort town. It seems really old and is right next to several commercial buildings. The harbor is dominated mostly by fishing boats. Nevertheless they have at least four restaurants, a cafe, and several antique/knick knack type shops. Anxious to get off the boat we walked the entire main street and found plenty to look at. After checking in with the marina office and completed our tour around town we went to take naps. I slept from about 3:30 until a little after 6 pm. If I had not forced myself to get up then I could have easily slept through the night.
After dinner at a local mom and pop place and a shower we went almost straight to bed. We decided not to leave the next day as we obviously needed to recuperate.
